Flag Football

Our co-ed pick-up flag football games are open to anyone eighteen years of age or older, all skill sets are welcomed and anyone who shows up is guaranteed to play.

We consider these games to be semi-competitive which means it is ok to play hard but it is not ok to take the game, or yourself for that matter, too seriously. Football is a fun game and we work hard at creating a jovial atmosphere on the field of play. We believe the relationships we build through sports is all that really matters , therefore, our focus is on enjoying the company of those playing the game and not on the score.

Here are a few aspects of our game that might be different from other flag football groups:

1. We are 100% co-ed & no gender rule – we believe that all are equal on the field and therefore the ball should be delivered evenly to all receivers and to whoever is open regardless of gender.

2. We allow blocking – open hand with either arms fully extended or at chest level (no loading up) and between the shoulders and hips only.

3. QB can run

4. Defense can rush the passer

5. Interceptions are live and can be run back

6. Laterals are legal.

7. Spinning is legal.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:  Cleats would be good, maybe sunscreen and a good attitude.
