San Diego Co-Ed Sports Leagues
The Secret Squirrel Society offers year round, co-ed sports leagues throughout San Diego. Our leagues are open to men and women of all ages and skill sets.

The Secret Squirrel Society’s 2011 Co-Ed, Indoor, 6-on-6, Volleyball League
When: Wednesday nights beginning October 5th and
NEW!!! Tuesday nights beginning October 4th!
Price: $45.00 for individual players or $325 per team if paid in full by September 28, 2011

The Secret Squirrel Society’s 2011 Co-Ed, Indoor, 6 -on- 6, Volleyball Leagues will begin the first week of October!
We will be playing in the Point Loma / Ocean Beach area at The Peninsula Family YMCA.
This is an 6 -on- 6 league with each team required to have at least two member of the opposite sex at all times.
Season will consist of a an eight (8) game regular season and two (2) games of playoffs for a total of ten (10) games.
A full list of league rules will be posted in the weeks to come.
Players can either register as a team or as “Free Agents” and we will have a random draw to place the free agent players on teams.
All players must be registered and paid in full by Wednesday, September 28 in order to be guaranteed a spot. After September 28, cost increases by $15 per player, $100 per team, and spots will be provided on a first come, first served basis.

The Secret Squirrel Society’s 2011 Co-Ed Flag Football League begins in October 2011 (exact start date TBD)!
We will be playing in the Carmel Mountain area at Ocean Air Community Center.
This is an 8 -on- 8 league with each team required to field at least two member of the opposite sex at all times.
Teams may carry a maximum of ten players on their roster.
Season will consist of a a ten (10) game regular season two (2) games of playoffs for a total of twelve (12) games.
A full list of league rules will be posted in the weeks to come but here are a few aspects of our game that might be different from other flag football leagues:
1. We are 100% co-ed & no gender rule – we believe that all are equal on the field and therefore the ball should be delivered evenly to all receivers and to whoever is open regardless of gender.
2. We allow blocking – open hand with either arms fully extended or at chest level (no loading up) and between the shoulders and hips only.
3. QB can run
4. Defense can rush the passer
5. Interceptions are live and can be run back
6. Laterals are legal.
7. Spinning is legal.
