Turkey Bowl 2011

Ladies and Gentlemen it is time once again for The Secret Squirrel Society’s Annual Turkey Bowl, our Thanksgiving Day flag football tournament. This is our fourth year doing this event and we are excited to keep the tradition going.

We are planning a regular game but we may turn this into a mini-tournament. (This, of course, is dependent on whether we get enough people to form three or more teams.)

Teams will be determined the day of the event by random draw. Cost for the Turkey Bowl is only $20.00 if registered by November 17, 2011. ($25.00 after that.)

Registration fee includes a Turkey Bowl t-shirt and trophies for the winning team. In true Secret Squirrel fashion we will have prizes and various giveaways during the game.

We will be playing at NTC Park (Liberty Station) in Point Loma and the game will start at 10:00 am sharp so we can finish in time to enjoy Thanksgiving festivities.

Please be there early to warm up, stretch etc… remember that this event is co-ed and open to all skill sets so there is no excuse for not participating.

After the game(s) everyone is invited to John Pistone’s house for Thanksgiving festivities. There will be food, drinks, football games on television and a lot of laughs. So if you do not have family nearby, or simply want to slip away from your family and relax with some friends then please feel free to join us at Casa de Pistone. All attending the get together are encouraged to bring food or drinks to share with the group. All relevant info on the after-party will be posted on the meet up site.

We Play Rain Or Shine!! We look forward to seeing all of you on Thanksgiving morning. If you have any questions please contact us via e-mail, info@sdsecretsquirrel.com, or phone 619-272-8332.
